Who We Are

Building with vision, renovating with respect

PLM-R Projects is an architectural concept born from a personal inspiration, but today it extends far beyond emotion. What started as a tribute to my grandmother – Palmans Rosa, a woman who embodied beauty, authenticity, and creativity – has grown into a professional platform for contemporary construction and renovation projects.

PLM-R represents an innovative and sustainable view on the built environment. We combine technical expertise with a sharp aesthetic eye, and believe that building – in all its forms – can be more than just a functional intervention. Whether it’s new construction, repurposing, or circular renovation: every project deserves a tailored approach that is both forward-thinking and realistic.

From characterful renovation to contemporary new build

Although PLM-R originally found its roots in the revaluation of existing buildings, today our focus has broadened considerably.

In an era where sustainability is central, it is essential to objectively assess each location, each building, and each program. What can be preserved and renewed? What calls for a complete transformation? And where lies the balance between environmental impact, aesthetics, regulations, and financial feasibility?

At PLM-R Projects, we are ready to assist both homeowners looking to future-proof their property and developers or investors seeking new-build opportunities guided by circular principles. We guide projects from A to Z – from concept development to permit applications – with attention to detail and a strong awareness of social and environmental challenges.

New construction as an opportunity, not a threat

New build is not a threat to sustainability – provided it is approached correctly. On the contrary, it presents an opportunity to design buildings intelligently from the ground up, to incorporate circular building principles from the start, and to immediately comply with the latest energy and environmental regulations.

That’s why PLM-R fully embraces forward-looking new construction projects. Compact, flexible, and designed with evolving housing needs and climate demands in mind. From multi-family housing and co-housing developments to smaller private homes or innovative commercial buildings: new construction can and must be smarter, more beautiful, and more ecological.

We don’t just think about today, but also about tomorrow – with attention to reusable materials, adaptable layouts, and low energy consumption. A new building should not be a blank canvas, but a strategic exercise in efficiency, comfort, and aesthetics.

Circular thinking, also in new construction

At PLM-R Projects, circularity is not just about reuse. It’s a complete mindset: designing for the future, building with flexibility, and anticipating changes in use or regulation.

That means:

  • Building with materials that can be dismantled and reused.

  • Designing buildings that can be easily adapted to new functions.

  • Minimizing waste through smart use of space and thoughtful detailing.

  • Integrating renewable energy solutions and passive building techniques.

Whether it involves stripping and reconfiguring a historic townhouse or constructing a new apartment block on an infill site, the circular approach is a continuous thread throughout our work.

Co-housing, densification, and shared living

The future of living will not only be more compact – it will also be more collective. Rising property prices, pressure on open space, and the need for energy efficiency are making densification and co-housing the new norm.

PLM-R Projects actively responds to this. We bring together investors, developers, and residents around projects where existing buildings or new constructions are divided into multiple units. These shared living forms lower entry barriers, reduce land use, and foster social interaction.

From small-scale co-living projects to subdividing larger buildings for multiple families: we offer support from design to permits to implementation.

Comprehensive guidance – with administrative expertise

The technical and administrative side of building or renovating is more complex than ever. Think of environmental permits, EPB (energy performance) reports, mobility studies, environmental impact assessments, and consultations with urban planning authorities.

PLM-R supports clients throughout this process with an integrated approach:

  • Preparation and submission of permit applications

  • Guidance on spatial and zoning issues

  • Coordination with external consultants (EPB, structural, technical)

  • Advice on grants and subsidies for energy-efficient or circular building

This ensures a smooth process – without unpleasant surprises along the way.

Our areas of focus

1. Contemporary new build with circular principles
Smartly designed, flexible, and with a focus on longevity and environmental impact.

2. Renovation and repurposing with respect for potential
No default preservation – but a balanced vision of what should remain, and what should go.

3. Co-housing and collective living
From concept to construction: working together on shared projects that truly work.

4. Full administrative support
Permits, regulations, subsidy guidance, and coordination of all documentation.

PLM-R: building with reason and character

In a time when construction is under pressure – ecologically, financially, and spatially – we aim to be a guide for those who want to build with vision. We combine creativity with expertise, sustainability with feasibility, and aesthetics with responsibility.

Whether you’re a private client looking to build a home, an investor seeking future-oriented concepts, or a renovator aiming for circular transformation: PLM-R thinks with you.

From vision to permit. From first sketch to final brick.
